How to Use a Thank You Campaign to Raise More with Your TapKat Sweepstakes
If you’re a TapKat customer, you’ll notice a new feature in the dashboard of your sweepstakes: Thank You Campaigns! (If you haven’t found this yet, navigate to the Menu > Thank You Campaigns). This new option is a great way to excite your donors, get them more engaged, and raise additional funds. Plus there is no cost for the campaign and it’s super easy to set up in your dashboard.
How do Thank You Campaigns Work for TapKat Sweepstakes?
Once a donor makes a donation to your sweepstakes, the TapKat system will automatically send out a receipt with entry numbers and a thank-you for supporting your organization. When a Thank You Campaign is active, donors will also receive a special promo code for 2X more entries with their next donation. The promo code is valid for a short window of time.
For many donors, this is a great incentive to donate again right away for those additional entries. And, when you have a Thank You Campaign active, you’ll see a percentage of donors do just that — enter again right away.
How to Set up a TapKat Sweepstakes Thank You Campaign
Once you’re on the Thank You Campaigns page (found in your sweepstakes popup menu), select “Add Thank You Campaign” from the bottom of the page. From there, you will be prompted to name the campaign (note: the name must be all letters), set campaign dates, and make any internal notes about the campaign.
We suggest running your Thank You Campaign for 10-14 days at a time (any longer than that and the promotion can grow stale or feel “not as special” to donors). Run your Thank You Campaigns when you’re not actively running a flash contest or other major promotion. This way, you can keep your donors focused and avoid burning people out on all your marketing efforts!
Plan Your Thank You Campaign Strategically
Once you have a Thank You Campaign up and running, you’ll be able to monitor progress from the Overview page of your TapKat Dashboard. At the bottom of the page, track donations coming in and funds raised at a glance, or click through to manage your Thank You Campaigns.
Think about the best time to add a Thank You Campaign to your marketing calendar when you’re planning your sweepstakes. It’s a great way to keep donors giving throughout the duration of your sweepstakes!
