A Highly Desirable Prize Plus Great Photos Were a Winning Combo for the Broomfield Rotary Charitable Foundation
Strategy: The Broomfield Rotary Charitable Foundation based in Broomfield, Colorado, is committed to enriching the community through fellowship and community service. Their fundraising work supports many local nonprofits, especially those that champion children, veterans, and senior citizens. In 2023, they raised $168,850 with a sweepstakes for a 1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible — but they’re not done yet! In 2024 they’re on track to break records again with a sweepstakes for a 1967 Corvette Convertible.
Story: The Broomfield Rotary Charitable Foundation embraced their donor base’s love for beautiful classic cars when they chose a 1966 GTO Convertible as their sweepstakes prize in 2023. With an understanding that great photos can make a huge difference in the success of a sweepstakes fundraiser, they hired a photographer and a couple models to help sell the fun of the prize. The Rotary Club team really leaned into the appeal of the car by dressing their models in leather jackets and selling the era of the car.
Great photos make a huge difference because they accomplish three main things:

They capture the allure of the prize,
And they help the donor visualize how great it would be if they were to win.
After their success in 2023, the Broomfield Rotary Charitable Foundation wanted to keep the momentum going strong in 2024. They chose a fully-restored 1967 Corvette Convertible in Rally Red for their sweepstakes, once again created beautiful images, and launched. They’re on track for another rollicking success, and we can’t wait to see what they chose to do next!
